Forecast for New Year 2011

This is a year of astrological significance. A potpourri of alignments that affect each sign 2011 will bring changes to us all that we didn’t see coming.

Starting with the rare occurrence of six eclipses and ending with the activity of trouble causing Mars, Saturn and Pluto we are all going to have to get down to business in ‘11.
The eclipses do bring certain events and there are:

Partial Solar Eclipses

  • January 4 in Capricorn

  • June 1 in Gemini

  • July 1 in Cancer

  • November 25 in Sagittarius
    Total Lunar Eclipses

  • June 15 in Sagittarius

  • December 10 in Sagittarius

If you have a birthday on the day of the eclipse you can expect some hidden event to come to light. Some exciting things can occur like a sudden proposal (most especially when the eclipse hits an ascendant) or a job promotion or a more dire connection may occur. These predictions are best left to serious chart interpretation but the general idea for the above signs is change.

2011 holds more for us. Saturn in Libra holds back some Libras from their usually jovial selves to a more solemn presence this year. Is everything on hold? Are you more fatigued? Are your real estate holdings taking another downturn? Is instant Karma at your doorstep? These questions occur with Cancer and Capricorn during the summer but to a lesser degree, Aries are you more fearless and does Lady Luck seem to follow you? April this year is a remarkable time for the Ram with so many blessings I can’t even count them all. This is the luckiest cycle for you in 11 years with Jupiter smiling on your every intent. An astrological trickle down effect suggests that fellow fire signs of Leo and Sagittarius will receive extra celestial bonuses. Capricorns are busy re-inventing themselves now. Think Tiger, Mel, Elin and Nic Cage. Nic seems to be quieter in his upheavals. But, it is there nonetheless. Virgo and Taurus are feeling it too but to a lesser degree. Her astrological metamorphosis is upon us and we see a totally new and different kind of beauty and presence emerging. Aquarius are more eccentric than ever and find themselves in idealized relationships and political stands. Receiving a portion of the luck of Jupiter in Aries Aquarius will enjoy 2011. Pisces feels the stress of four of the eclipses and unexpected changes occur at every turn.

Scorpio is in a cycle of preparation where next year the entrance of Jupiter in Taurus brings a slipknot to tricky situations. Many issues find resolve.

Happy Birthday Capricorn. You start the year with two planets in your house of secrets. This sets the tone for much of the year. Jupiter the planet of luck is making favorable and wonderful opportunities for you in your house of friends and alliances in 2011. Jupiter also brings gifts and other goodies perhaps from co-workers and a bonus from the boss. By year’s end you find you face challenges at work. 

March 21 to April 19

Aries - The fighting spirit of Mars in the sign of Capricorn now makes you scrappy and ready to box in most endeavors. This works for you in regard to your career. You are energized this month and can accomplish most everything you want. Okay, maybe you cannot totally rule the world you can at least finish important projects and get your point across. 

April 20 to May 20

Taurus - How cool is it to be Taurus this year? Things are going great, you gain attention unexpectedly at work, the career is moving along. Just one thing to remember, everyone is watching you. Everything you say and do seems to be publicized, amplified and analyzed. Since this isn’t what you had planned at all try to use a little caution when making sweeping changes. Your health gets a boost. 

May 21 to June 20

Gemini - Haunted by the ghost of past decisions that you may regret, you review contracts, agreements and even old emails written in haste. You get a rare opportunity now to write new deals, obtain new options, and re-write some personal history. You shine on the 5th and 6th when the doors of opportunity finally fling open. Thank heavens, you need a break.

June 21 to July 22

Cancer - Born for change and lazy nights in tropical breezes you react to the moon and stars. Water stirs your soul. But now, here you are stuck having to do all the right things. You work overtime, the family needs you at every turn and there is no chance to wander to dream or get cozy in front of the home fires. Not for you. You must stay on course this month where Saturn helps you build stability. You will be rewarded ten fold.

July 23 to August 22

Leo - Manicures, pedicures, Day Spas and rock concerts are the stuff of the Leo life. Strutting like the King of any Jungle, being as glamorous as any supermodel, you cannot stand the mundane or the bourgeois. This year, thankfully, you discover a lover as exotic, unusual and alluring as you are. You meet suddenly, the attractions as they say is purely physical. Venus, Jupiter and the Moon of the 28th start astro-sparks to give you a potent boost in many areas. 

August 23 to September 22

Virgo - Saturn spent much of 2010 in your eight house of finances providing you with restrictions that protected you from yourself and your many goofs. You have a way with money this New Year. Some of you are courting self-destruction with tacky friends as powerful planets ask you to make important changes. September 23 to October 22

Libra - A lover’s quarrel makes you aware of your recent denial about your partner and your situation. It provides a perfect chance for you to reassess your life together and move in the right direction. Later this year you enter a new phase and find that you get the chance to make fresh starts and reach for the moon. This year will be one of your most memorable ones. October 23 to November 21

Scorpio - All you want to do is the impossible. Driven by your internal worlds you ignore warnings now. You are not listening to facts and realities.
